What is this?

Local Meal Deals is a crowd-sourced directory of pub and restaurant specials across Australia. Anyone can browse, share, or suggest changes to deals — think of it like a community bulletin board for meal bargains. All deals are reviewed before going live.

How do I find a deal?

Use the search bar to find deals by keyword, or filter by day of the week, meal type (breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks, drinks), and max price. Deals appear as cards in the list pane and as markers on the map. Click a marker or card to see full details, then use the menu button on a card to visit the venue's website or share the deal.

How do I share a deal?

Click the Share Deal button and fill in the venue name, address (start typing for suggestions), deal title, optional description and website link, meal type, day(s), and price. Tick Prices from... if the price is a starting point. A pin will appear on the map — drag it to the correct location if needed. Once shared, your deal will be queued for review.

How do I edit or remove a deal?

Open a deal card and click the menu (three dots), then select Suggest edit. You can flag the deal as ended, mark the venue as closed, or report it as a duplicate. You can also update any field — the changes will be reviewed alongside the current deal for comparison.
